Been working over a week now (barely) and already it feels like I have little to no free time.
Not necessarily bad, but its just fucking with my head. I went from spending most of last year working non-stop on either research, classes or my old job that I stayed in for weekends on end. Then when I came back in January I had nothing to do, I read over twenty books in my time off, watched plenty of movies, and did my damnedest to catch up on the missed sleep from the last few years. Now I'm out the door around 7:30 and back after 6 (not bad I know) and it seems like there's always things I'm not doing because of time.
I'm not complaining, I'm happy to be employed even if it is only a 6-month fix. Just odd.
Job's cool, nice people, learning more about the field, getting my first free lunch tomorrow.
